  • COLOR COORDINATOR/PRINT OPERATOR

    Job Summary:

    We are currently looking for a full time Color Coordinator to assist our team in coordinating existing and future projects. The successful candidate will be able to accurately and efficiently color coordinating samples from our customers' requirements while providing reliability and quality. The candidate will also need to be organized and able to  participate in the scanning and preparation of color production.

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Foresee potential problems and aid team in avoiding or resolving problems before they impact projects.
    • Work with other departments to ensure that colors are being completed and approved on schedule
    • Understand job scope and cut sample from appropriate area
    • Be able to save color information and navigate necessary computer systems
    • Proficiently operate and maintain color machine
    • Digitally adjust color per customer and flooring requirements
    • Perform proper disposal of hazardous materials
    • Perform regular housekeeping including maintaining equipment, organizing and cleaning print room, and work space
    • Solve color issues and make necessary modifications to ensure successful samples
    • Frequently bend and lift up to 25 lbs
    • Superior color vision with an ability to see color accurately without sensitivity to multiple light settings
    • Must be comfortable using sharp objects and climbing ladders

     

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree in a business related field preferred)
    • Competent in Adobe Photoshop and use of Mac PC

  • CUSTOMER SERVICE REP

    Job Summary:

    Our growing business is looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services, and to handle and resolve complaints. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies, and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

     

    Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Answers incoming customer calls regarding product, service questions and general client concerns
    • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
    • Update customer information accurately in the customer service database during and after each call
    • Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies and procedures
    • Impact the company’s bottom line by problem solving and turning frustrated clients into repeat customers

     

    Qualifications & Skills:

  • MOULDER OPERATOR

    Job Summary:

    Run the moulder to produce woodstock

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None

     

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Set up and operate moulder to plane, shape an groove wood stock
    • Read work ticket and examine pattern shape to determine setup procedures
    • Select and install cutting heads and other parts on machine
    • Position patterns and make adjustments as needed
    • Run required production according to work ticket and inspect for quality
    • Communicate issues to team lead and Floor Manager

     

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Ability to walk/stand for at least 8 hours
    • Good mathematical skills, knowledge of units of weight measurement, volume and distance
    • Good mechanical skills, ability to read digital and mechanical calipers, drawings and prints
    • Ability to use various hand tools, wrenches, gauges, etc.
    • Ability to read/understand/follow instructions both written and verbal
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be team oriented
    • Willing and able to work overtime if needed

     

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Some experience in manufacturing

     

    Physical Requirement

    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, climb for extended periods

  • PACKAGER

    Warehouse

     

    Job Summary:

    Fill orders in an accurate and time manner

     

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None

     

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Fulfill orders as they are received
    • Pick product from designated locations
    • Gather all material as needed for orders (tape, wrap, cardboard, paper, staples, etc.
    • Verify all products and quantities against Packing Slip
    • Prepare tubes and boxes using air staple gun and tape dispenser for packaging orders
    • Enter all pulled material data into computer and finalizing order to be shipped
    • Use computer to read messages, pulling orders from Access system and communicating with office staff via Instance Message
    • Work safely at all times and comply with all safety policies and procedures
    • Keep a clean work area
    • Communicate with fellow packaEgers, office staff, production supervisor and other co-workers
    • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

     

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Ability to operate a pallet jack
    • Ability to walk, stand climb for at least 8 hours picking and packaging customer orders
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to read and understand written instructions
    • Team oriented, but able to work independently
    • Good basic math, counting and written communication skills
    • Excellent attention to details
    • Ability to learn to operate labeling, box closing and other various shipping equipment

  • PRODUCTION MACHINERY MECHANIC

    Warehouse

     

    Job Duties:

    • Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
    • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
    • Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
    • Work safely at all time & comply with all safety policies and procedures.
    • Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
    • Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
    • Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
    • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
    • Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
    • Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
    • Study blueprints and manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation and operation of machinery.
    • Cut and weld metal to repair broken metal parts, fabricate new parts, and assemble new equipment.
    • Demonstrate equipment functions and features to machine operators.
    • Enter codes and instructions to program computer-controlled machinery.
    • Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary.
    • Record repairs and maintenance performed.

     

    Skills & Experience:

    • At least 5 years experience in a production/manufacturing environment
    • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
    • Knowledge of relevant OSHA Safety procedures
    • Experience with electrical systems preferred
    • Metal fabrication experience required
    • Construction knowledge required
    • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment

     

  • PRODUCTION WRAP LINE OPERATOR

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Set up of production machinery
    • Operate machine to meet or exceed quality standards
    • Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the machine/s
    • Ensuring enough raw material is stationed and ready to be loaded into the machine
    • Continually inspect product to insure material is within specification and high quality
    • Fix any issues that may arise
    • Carry out routine maintenance
    • Operate forklift
    • Work safely at all time and comply with all safety policies and procedures
    • Keep a clean and presentable work area
    • Communicate efficiently and report any issues to your Manager/s as they arise
    • Report directly to Production Team Lead, Warehouse Manager and Executive VP/COO -  Markus Schalkamp
